Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have — including how third party advertising cookies work.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This website (“Yard & Vista”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Creative Web Design and Development, Co-Lab, 450 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017. We can be contacted at message@creative-web-designs.store or on 555 7000 8000. By using this website you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use a contact or custom design form, your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry topic and message are sent to our team inbox so we can reply. We do not use these details for marketing lists.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages requested. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate statistics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies may be set by us for basic site function and by third parties such as advertising and analytics partners. See section 4.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and this site is not directed at children.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your enquiry or custom design request.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To understand which content readers find useful, in aggregate.
  • To display advertising that funds the free content on this site.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, including personalised advertising.
  • Legitimate interests — for site security, abuse prevention and aggregate analytics.
  • Contract / pre-contract steps — to answer an enquiry you send us.
  • Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.

4. Advertising, cookies and Google AdSense

  • Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users may opt out of a third party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
  • Third party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and may use their own cookies, web beacons or similar technologies, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Where required, Google and its certified partners rely on a consent mechanism for personalised advertising and data processing. If you are in a region requiring consent, you will be asked before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time.
  • More information is available in Google's privacy and terms for partner sites.

5. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which guides are read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual readers.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies may mean ads shown to you are less relevant, but the content of this site will continue to work.

7. Data sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site — hosting, email delivery, advertising and analytics partners — and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are relied upon by those providers.

9. Data retention

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to answer your question and to keep a record of correspondence, then deleted. Server log data is retained for a short period for security purposes.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California may request details of information collected and ask that it not be sold — we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email message@creative-web-designs.store.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. External links

This site links to third party websites and advertisers. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies before providing information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
